Care and Maintenance

GLASS: Neglected glass will accumulate water spots, which will eventually turn into mineral deposits.

The best way to keep the glass clean is to squeegee the glass after each shower.

DO NOT USE ANY KIND OF ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR PADS ON THE GLASS.

Daily shower spray cleaners that you leave on the glass can be harmful to your tile, stone, marble and grout.Check with the manufacturer regarding chemicals on your tile, stone, marble, etc. They can also leave permanent streaks on your glass.
Self-applied surface protectants, like RainX, are not recommended for shower glass.

Glass cleaners leave a film on the glass making it more difficult to keep clean. The best glass cleaner to use on your glass is one with low ammonia, such as Sprayway. We have this available for sale if you cannot find it in a local retailer.

Use of a wet Mr. Clean Magic Eraser periodically removes any soap or mineral buildup that may occur even with routine squeegee use.

HARDWARE: Preventative maintenance will enhance the beauty and functionality of your door hardware.

If the pre-greased hinges should begin squeaking over time, use a drop or two of 3-in-1 Oil.
DO NOT USE LUBRICATING SPRAYS, such as WD40.

Never use abrasive cleaners on the hardware. Many of the components are coated with clear lacquer and abrasives will irreparably damage it.

Drying the hardware with a clean, soft towel on a daily basis is the best way to maintain it.
If mineral deposits form, mix a couple of drops of a mild liquid soap (Ivory) into a cup of warm water. Clean the hardware using a soft, non-abrasive cloth. Rinse thoroughly with clean warm water and dry.
